Operating Options for Automatic Gates
One of the most important things to consider when you decide to automate your gate, is how to operate it.
Ultra Secure Ltd take great care in these discussions, as we believe that it is the most important decision to make.
The system chosen doesn’t change the operating options.
We often get asked just to supply remote control, but we then ask how are your visitors going to get in, how does the milkman come in, how do deliveries get to the house, the normal answer is ‘we didn’t think of that’.
Some customers do simply want a remote control , and nothing else, that’s fine provided we have simply pointed out potential problems.
There always is an answer to suit all house holders and businesses, it is simply the case of balancing usability and costs.
Listed below are choices of operating principles, which normally suit most people, but we are always available to discuss other options:

- Automatic operation of the gate using a timer.
- Entry beam breakers
- Exit beam breakers
- Underground loop system
- Visual Bell: some customers simply use a visual bell for customers to announce there arrival.
- Hidden bell: some customers use one of our hidden devices that ring a bell inside the house of office when a visitor arrives.
- Pedestrian gate access: we normally find that for customers who do not mind having a pedestrian gate the choices are easier, they still have vehicle security but visitors can walk to the property
